Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the software, custom CRM, and digital marketing services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Light Leads. By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.

If you violate this policy, Light Leads reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice or refund.

1. General Prohibitions

You may only use our Services for lawful, legitimate business purposes. You agree not to use Light Leads to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation (including the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Spam Act 2003).

• Transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, abusive, or threatening.

• Promote discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.

• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights of others.

• Distribute fraudulent or deceptive goods, services, schemes, or promotions (e.g., phishing, pyramid schemes).

2. Email and SMS Marketing Compliance

Because our CRM allows you to communicate with your clients via email and SMS, you are strictly responsible for the content you send and the consent you gather. When using our communication tools, you must:

• Obtain Explicit Consent: You must have clear, verifiable, and opt-in consent from your contacts before sending them marketing emails or SMS messages. Purchasing or scraping lists of leads is strictly prohibited.

• Include Opt-Out Mechanisms: Every marketing email and SMS message must include a clear, functional, and free way for the recipient to unsubscribe or opt-out (e.g., an unsubscribe link or "Reply STOP to cancel"). You must honor these requests immediately.

• Identify Yourself: You must clearly and accurately identify your business as the sender of the communication.

• Do Not Spam: You must not send unsolicited commercial messages. High bounce rates, high complaint rates, or spam trap hits may result in immediate suspension of your sending privileges to protect our network's reputation.

3. Data Privacy and Client Information

As a user of the Light Leads CRM, you will be uploading your own clients' data into our systems.

• You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to collect, store, and process the personal information of your clients.

• You must not use our platform to collect or store highly sensitive personal information (such as personal health records or full credit card numbers) unless specifically supported by a secure, compliant integration within the CRM.

4. System Security and Integrity

You agree not to compromise the security or performance of the Light Leads platform. You must not:

• Upload or distribute viruses, malware, trojan horses, or any other malicious code.

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, networks, or other users' accounts.

• Perform any vulnerability testing, penetration testing, or network scanning on our infrastructure without our express written permission.

• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the platform in a way that overloads our servers.

• Share your login credentials with unauthorised users or sell your account access to a third party.

5. Enforcement and Consequences

We monitor our network for compliance with this AUP. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated any part of this policy, we may take one or more of the following actions:

• Issue a written warning.

• Suspend your sending privileges (e.g., disabling your ability to send SMS or emails).

• Suspend or permanently terminate your Light Leads account without a refund.

• Report your activity to relevant law enforcement agencies or regulatory bodies if we suspect illegal conduct.

6. Reporting Violations

If you believe a Light Leads user is violating this AUP, or if you have received spam originating from our network, please report it to us immediately at:
